This chapter has four parts: a glossary, a command format reference, the optional cluster failover feature, and the MCP service:

• 4.1. Glossary: definitions and calculation methods for concepts such as Machine OEE Data, Group OEE Data and Group Part Count.
• 4.2. Command Format: the format of commands such as PLC Data Task, Precondition, Task Interval, Post-processing ($DA$ / $POST$ / $MOCK$), External PLC Data Task, External Machines, Protected API and Authorized APIs.
• 4.3. Cluster Failover (Optional): how the shared standby pool works, how to build it, failover and switch-back behaviour, forced takeover, and what is not replicated.
• 4.4. MCP Service: how to enable and authenticate the gateway’s built-in MCP server, call it through the cloud platform, and configure clients so AI tools can query machine data in natural language.
